The world’s first LiMo-running handsets - the Vodafone 360 H1 and Vodafone 360 M1 have been officially announced by Vodafone recently. The basic beauty of both of these phones is that they are equipped with beautiful touch screens and the probable software and hardware are making the new handsets sound extremely exciting to say but the least. Now let’s take a look at both the handsets one by one.
![]() 1. If you are one of those people who would do anything to have multimedia on their phones then Vodafone 360 H1 is the one handset that they just can’t ignore. It has a size of 115.9 x 58 x 12.9 mm, weighs 134 g and has a huge 3.5-inch 16M-color AMOLED touchscreen. The other specs of course include a 5-megapixel camera, GPS receiver and a large internal memory (16GB). To top it off the phone also has HSDPA, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth support. 2. Vodafone 360 M1 is being termed as the more affordable of the two as the touch screen is a bit smaller (measuring 3.2 inches) which can have a direct effect on the price sometimes. The handset size is somewhere between (111 x 55 x 13.3 mm), it’s also lighter in weight i.e. 111 g. But like the H1 edition M1 also has a built-in GPS receiver and support for HSDPA and Bluetooth. The handset does not have any Wi-Fi support this time, and some compromise has been done on the camera resolution which has been reduced to 3 megapixels. Both the handsets will be produced by Samsung and will be equipped with a 3D user interface and access to the Vodafone 360 services. Vodafone 360 M1 will also have social network services along with an app and multimedia store. Chances are that Vodafone 360 H1 will be available in black or silver whereas Vodafone 360 M1 will be available in black, white and red. Experts are predicting that both of these sets will be available for consumers around Christmas time. But the company has yet to announce any pricing strategy for the two handsets.
