So finally HTC comes up with the new HTC Touch2, which also happens to be the first smartphone device to be equipped with the unique Windows Mobile 6.5, Microsoft's newest mobile operating system, made especially for a desktop-like browsing experience. You can do many things with this handset, call your colleagues or friends, browse through incoming text and multimedia messages in a matter of moments, check out the weather or just get your daily news doze.

You have full power over you matters as well as your life when you use the HTC Touch2. You get Live Messenger for chatting and Facebook for catering to your virtual social life. This 3G powered Touch2 has a 528MHz Qualcomm MSM7225 processor along with 512MB ROM and 256MB RAM to run applications. A 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display can be used to display HTC's popular TouchFLO user interface and the device's tight integration with Google Maps for Mobile and YouTube. You have a zoom bar on the Touch2's face which essentially gives added control for changing text size and viewing media. Users can easily take photos with a 3.2 megapixel fixed focus camera and save them on microSD(INFO) memory cards which makes taking and saving photos very convenient. Bluetooth features on this device as well 2.1 with EDR and A2DP for use with stereo Bluetooth products and so you can very easily use wireless stereo headsets and headphones with it. The HTC Touch2's Windows Mobile 6.5 OS features two new services from Microsoft. You have Microsoft My Phone which will let you easily align phone data, like contacts, appointments, and photos, very securely as well. There is also a Windows Marketplace for Mobile where users can easily lay their hands on new and useful applications for their new Touch2. As announced by the company, the new HTC Touch2 will hit the markets on October 6 with wider availability in Europe and Asia in the fourth quarter.
