Sony Ericsson all set to Launch 24-Carat Dolce & Gabbana Jalou

It was recently announced by Sony Ericsson that the company would soon be launching a new 24-carat handset, especially designed by the Italian luxury brand, Dolce & Gabbana named Jalou. According to Dolce & Gabbana, the kept in view the latest couture and fashion trends to design the Jalou's cut jewel form, which is beautiful to say but the least. This designer handset is just above 73mm long – which can very easily fit into a clutch or jacket pocket. The Dolce & Gabbana Jalou also features a 2.0-inch screen that can be turned into a mirror at the touch of a button.

It is also equipped with a 'fashion interface' that repeatedly updates horoscopes and special events throughout the year and also a step counter for the fashion conscious. Some other notable features are a 3.2-megapixel camera, music player, video recording, 3G, Bluetooth, built-in FM radio and Internet enabling you to check your e-mail, watch YouTube clips, Google, as well as use Facebook! Just like Motorola Razr, a normal edition Jalou was also announced which had the same features minus the Dolce & Gabbana touch. According to Linda Schori, Sony Ericsson's Marketing Business Manager "The Jalou by Dolce & Gabbana added special elements such as 24-carat gold plating and exclusive Dolce & Gabbana content. Both handsets are perfect for anyone who is sociable, loves fashion and wants to stay one step ahead of trends."

Dolce & Gabbana Jalou will be offered in selected markets in the fourth quarter -- the Dolce & Gabbana Jalou in Sparkling Rose color and the Jalou in Deep Amethyst, Aquamarine Blue and Onyx Black colors.
