It has come to the knowledge from the declaration of both of CSR and Skyhook Wireless that their joint venture or partnership will bring in sophisticated location capabilities to the Wi-Fi silicon of CSR. It should be remembered that CSR happens to be a preeminent provider of wireless technologies in the global spectrum while Skyhook Wireless is the manufacturer of the Wi-Fi Positioning System and XPS 2.0, the hybrid positioning system.
